A Blessing Of The Righteous
Many blessings of the righteous!
Psalm 1:6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
Psalm 5:12 Surely, LORD, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield.
Psalm 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry;
Psalm 34:19The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;
Psalm 37:6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
Psalm 37:29The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.
Psalm 37:39The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD;
He is their stronghold in time of trouble.
Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.
Psalm 64:10The righteous will rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in Him; all the upright in heart will glory in Him!
Psalm 97:11 Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.
Psalm 112:4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Psalm 118:15 Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!"
Psalm 140:13 Surely the righteous will praise Your name, and the upright will live in Your presence.
Psalm 146:8 the LORD gives sight to the blind,
the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down,
the LORD loves the righteous.
Proverbs 3:33The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the righteous.
Proverbs 10:3The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but He thwarts the craving of the wicked.
Proverbs 10:16The wages of the righteous is life, but the earnings of the wicked are sin and death.
Proverbs 10:25 When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.
Proverbs 11:8The righteous person is rescued from trouble, and it falls on the wicked instead.
Proverbs 11:23The desire of the righteous ends only in good, but the hope of the wicked only in wrath.
Proverbs 12:3 No one can be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted.
Proverbs 13:9The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.
Proverbs 13:25The righteous eat to their hearts’ content, but the stomach of the wicked goes hungry.
Proverbs 14:32 When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.
Proverbs 15:29The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Proverbs 20:7The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them.
Proverbs 23:24The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.
Proverbs 24:16 for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.
Proverbs 29:7The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
Those who give to the poor lends to the LORD. His repayments are out of this world! Proverbs 19.17
This Morning's Text from Proverbs:
Proverbs 4.18 The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
This is describing the life of the person who walks with the LORD, who obeys Him and who seeks His Face.
The righteous= the just, correct, lawful

to enlighten, to shine
The Word of God is the light. It lights our path.
The path of the righteous perpetuates light. As we obey the LORD and walk with Him He sheds more light on our path. We gain wisdom and discernment. We gain understanding when we trust in Him with all our hearts.
It is a shining light. Jesus told us to let our light so shine before men.
Deborah’s triumphal song, we find, ‘Let all them that love Thee be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might.’ In one of the latest parts of the Old Testament, Daniel’s prophecy, we read, ‘They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Life can be a crescendo of glory. Walking with Jesus each day. This is what the Christian life is meant to be.
I love how He matures us, how fruit comes out of those who are stedfast.
Ephesians 5.8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the LORD. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the LORD.
The LORD wants us to grow in Him until that day He calls us home.
I thank the LORD that I have always been drawn to older pastors. I still am! I love encouraging the young ones but even now I enjoy the company of the older ones. I listen and learn.
The godly daily increase of knowledge in God's Word and becoming more like Jesus.
Ways to Ensure Spiritual Growth

Get into the Word of God, saturate yourself in it!

Stay on the right path. It will get brighter and brighter. You will see clearly even though sometimes you may not understand what is going on. You will walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, you will have the Light of the LORD. And you will be taken up to that city where there is no need of sun because the Lamb is the Light in that place where it is eternal day!
